About the Speaker
Kate Boone is a student at Appalachian State University majoring in Fine Arts. She is a studio assistant at Cely's House in Chapel Hill where she co-instructs pottery classes. Kate's brother, Matthew, is studying in a community college with a goal of becoming a librarian. Matthew has a “wicked and dry” sense of humor and high functioning autism and dyspraxia.
