This Web page represents a compilation of the grant award letters, with special conditions included where applicable, for the 2004 Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) Part B and 619 formula grant awards. These funds, awarded under the IDEA, are appropriated by Congress and are intended to support early intervention and special education services for infants, toddlers and children with disabilities and their families. Embracing Our Future: Health Services and Head Start has just been published. The 18 minute video shows how four children in Head Start and/or Early Head Start benefit from the program's health services. Designed as training for parents, Health Services Advisory Committee members, staff and Policy Council and Governing Bodies, the video and companion guide provide a basic picture of the range of health services. Correlating activities and resources are included.
