Senate - Use of Local Part B Funds

• Adds a provision that in any year in which there is full funding of Part B of IDEA, an LEA may treat as local funds not more than 40 percent of the funds received, and further stipulates that the LEA shall use an amount of the 40 percent funds that represents 15 percent of the total amount of funds the LEA receives to provide early intervening educational services. (Sec. 613(a)(2)(C)(iii)(I1)).
