Follow-up materials

The Center on Outcomes for Infants, Toddlers, and Preschoolers with Disabilities is working on the development and implementation of child and family outcome measures that can be used in local, state, and national accountability systems. Through a purposeful combination of strategies including research, collaboration, consensus building, technical assistance (TA), and dissemination, the Center will move outcome measurement progressively forward, toward achieving: 1) national data on outcomes for young children with disabilities, and 2) the regular use of outcome data for program improvement at the local and state levels.

The major focus of this workshop was on the development of data collection methods for measuring child and family outcomes. The workshop provided a quick update on current ECO activities/findings and on the progress to date of GSEG grantees in developing state systems for child and family outcomes.
