On Tuesday, September 21, the Democratic leadership in the Senate agreed to appoint conferees to the House-Senate conference committee on IDEA reauthorization. This means that the conference committee can begin working on a compromise between the House and Senate IDEA bills that both chambers can pass and put before the President for his signature. A variety of presentations, information, and resources on father involvement in Head Start are presented on this new Web site. Discussion forums, where local program leadership, staff, and parents can ask questions, exchange information, and share resources with their peers are offered. You are asked to contribute ideas and models that can be adopted or adapted to promote positive father involvement in local programs across the country through "From the Field".
